Saadhya

This is an initiative designed to help specially-abled children, adolescents and youth to bridge the development gap, enable them to be self-reliant and be ready for the future.

EARLY INTERVENTION

 

The Early Intervention program helps children aged 0-6 years with delayed developmental milestones. Our intensive programs help children minimize their difficulties and work to bridge the gap in development. For early intervention, Sambhav operates within a radius of 5-6 kilometers.

Open Basic Education (OBE) Program / National Institute of Open School (NIOS)

 

Sambhav School, in collaboration with the National Institute of Open School (NIOS)

 

This program is for children (aged 7-14) with Down syndrome, Borderline and Hyperactive Bipolar Disorder. Under this program, doctors and child psychologists work with students from regular schools. Schooling under OBE Program operates in a circle of around 8 kilometers.

Life skills and Vocational Skills Training

 

This program imparts training to the adolescents and adults with psychosocial disabilities and children with intellectual disabilities. At our centers, they learn various work skills, and are ready for the world of work either in sheltered employment or in open employment. Our vocational skills’ training is for adolescents aged 16-18.

CORD

 

CORD Learning Centre (CLC) is a part of our strategic tools development for Sambhav School. At CORD, all our therapists work in unison to ensure optimal and all-round development of our students

 

  • We provide internships for psychology, speech and occupational therapy students
  • We train and equip shadow teachers
  • We conduct workshops for teachers, parents, and caregivers
  • We offer re-habitation counselling to patients, parents and family members of patients
